I am a wedding photographer, Jessica Ryan Photography, but I was also recently a BRIDE and got married at The Hermitage Museum and Gardens! We got our tent(s), table and chairs all from Distinctive. They worked wonderfully with my Mom and our wedding planner when we needed to come up with rain plans B & C! They were very accommodating and communicative to us! We rented a 30×60 tent, tables, chairs, linens, a dance floor and ottomans for my daughter’s wedding at a private residence. Guys setting up were friendly and efficient! Everyone was very easy to work with and informative.
If it’s in your budget…get an ottoman or two…super comfortable!!! We had ours on the beach…big hit!!!
Everyone at Distinctive Event Rentals is very friendly, helpful and professional. My experience started by getting the price list from their website, which was very user friendly. I then called and talked with a very nice gentleman who was knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me place my order quickly. When I went in to the office a week later to confirm my order and the delivery, everything was in order and I was treated like family. I felt very comfortable. Delivery happened exactly as scheduled, by friendly men. We weren’t ready for set up, so they explained how to set up the pieces ourselves. On Monday they returned, as scheduled, and broke down the pieces and packed up. It couldn’t have been easier. We are so pleased with our experience with Distinctive Event Rentals and would NEVER shop around. The prices were comparable and the service was unbeatable. Thanks!!
My Mom and I came here for rentals for my wedding. I was massively impressed by the variety of linens, dishes, and furniture available to rent. When we were interested in the light-up tables for the cocktail hour, the warehouse manager was kind enough to stop what he was doing, pull a light box down, and demonstrate how it works. Another worker took the time to pull out a beverage dispenser that wasn’t on display to show us. The showroom was undergoing renovations at the time, but I don’t think I missed anything. The staff were so kind and accommodating. I could not have asked for better service. I got exactly what I was hoping for.
We couldn’t be happier with the service Distinctive Event Rentals provided. Our wedding was 100 times better than we ever expected. They pay close, thoughtful attention to every detail and the equipment is high-quality. Everything from our tent, chandeliers, linens and chairs were beautiful. Distinctive is responsive, flexible and reliable. We highly recommend using their services and equipment.
This company is wonderful. We had a large 40’x60′ tent for my daughter’s wedding along with tables & chairs, it was perfect. The owner came out & measured & made recommendations that were spot on. The crew that came to set everything up couldn’t have been nicer. Very courteous, polite & accommodating. Great bunch of guys, very professional. They called this their baby tent. I would never use anyone else. Thanks everyone for making our day wonderful!
I LOVED working with Distinctive. We met with Gabby in person at the warehouse and she walked us through everything for the big day (from china to tent lights) – absolutely painless. She worked up a CADD for us to really maximize the space for our backyard wedding and stayed in touch with us in the weeks leading up to the big day (phone and email), accommodating all our last minute changes (add trashcans, more chairs, no outdoor furniture etc. etc.). I really cannot praise her enough; her customer service, flexibility and expertise made our wedding feel so customized and high-end. Install was totally painless. Four guys showed up 3 days before the wedding and had everything (including our gigantic tent and string lights) up in about an hour. When they came back on Monday they were so careful in our yard you would have NEVER known there was a 20′ x 30′ tent there for 5 days. Overall: a fantastic, affordable experience. We held our reception for around 120 guests outdoors and rented a tent and accessories (dance floor, tables, chairs, linens) from Distinctive. Overall, we had a great experience! My now-husband and I planned our Williamsburg wedding from D.C.—Laura was willing to accommodate our schedule and met with us on a Saturday. The process was smooth and Distinctive was able to bring our vision to life, including assisting with some last-minute weather-related changes. Distinctive Event Rentals went over and beyond for our wedding! From the first day we started working with Bill & Norma, our experience was so enjoyable. They are incredibly organized, professional and prompt – unlike many of the tent rental companies out there today. Distinctive Events helped my wedding dream evolve into simply the most perfect day. We rented chairs, linens, tables, chargers and heaters for our wedding. Nicole and Gabrielle were so helpful during the consultation. I had an initial vision for my day, but that changed once I met with them and they helped make it even better. We had a few last minute changes due to weather and Distinctive was happy to accommodate and help keep our guests warm with patio heaters at the last second. I got married on June 16, 2018 and we chose to use Distinctive Event Rentals for our special day. We rented simple white folding chairs to be used outdoors for our ceremony, and various sizes of table cloths, cloth napkins, and a small table for the reception. Distinctive Event Rentals was great about allowing changes to our order up to three days prior to the wedding which was awesome because I had to make a few changes along the way. The employees were very friendly and helpful every time I called and they were quick to respond to emails. They delivered and picked up the rentals on time and as planned. I would highly recommend this company to other couples needing rentals! – Katie
